You came into this world with everything you need to get through life in a healthy and happy way.
The problem is: in order to fit in to our society, we often toss aside integral pieces of self (that quirky style, your wicked sense of humor). Most of the time, we don’t rid ourselves of the fluff. Instead, we abandon or suppress the most dynamic aspects of ourselves, the ones that make us, us. They’re definitely the most uncomfortable to allow to flow freely, ‘cause we can feel the uneasiness of those around us when we do.
I urge you today to hold onto you.
All of you.
You’re not here for others’ comfort.
Whether you like you in this moment or not, you’re here because you’re necessary.
We need you.
