If everyone likes you, it’s not actually a good thing. In fact, it usually means your convictions are too weak—that you don’t stand for anything of significance.
You’ll notice that when you hold true to a value system and believe wholeheartedly in something, anything, especially yourself, it’ll eventually conflict with some people and threaten some, too. The unhealthy subset of those some people will not like you, and that’s okay.
Here’s the deal: Stay true to yourself. Respect and like are two different things. Earn respect and leave the liking part to the healthy others. They’re the ones you want to hang around anyway.
